Rolex Datejust Bezel Swap Question?
I have a new 6-digit Datejust model that I want to have the original fluted bezel swapped to a smooth bezel. I know all about the Rolex won't service the watch, etc. with the bezel swap, but it is my watch.
My question is does the watch need to be pressure tested once the bezel is swapped? I am planning to take the watch and new smooth bezel (OEM) to a local watch dealer. Thanks in advance for the feedback. |

Rolex Datejust Bezel Swap Question?
Yes. Just did this on my wife's DJ. The crystal comes off with the bezel.

Actually, if the watch is available in the smooth bezel configuration, then servicing may not be an issue.
I believe it is just the watches that have been modified to a configuration that doesn't exist that have the servicing restrictions. Although I could very well be wrong on this...I have no personal knowledge, just what I've read here. |
