1974 Rolex Explorer II 1655 "Albino" MK2 Dial
Up for grabs is a Rolex Explorer II
1655 reference 3.9 mil serial number circa 1974 production Excellent vintage condition case with even lugs and crown guards. There is some pitting between the lugs, but the serial and reference numbers are fully intact and visible. The dial is original MK2 in flawless condition. No chips, scratches, drag marks, tritium loss, or spotting. Original hands with tritium, fully faded Orange hand and light cream/eggshell patina on plots and hands. Original silver date disk with open 6's and 9's. Original MK2 bezel is in excellent condition. The enamel has been redone by LA Watchworks. Caseback is original, stamped 1655 inside. Bracelet is a Rolex Oyster 78360, fully linked with 13 links, 501 ends, K date code, moderate stretch from use. My price is $13,750 shipped within US.
