Icon10 Hi from Australia.

Hi all,
I joined as I am looking to buy my first Rolex.
I have a few other nice watches, but no Rolex as yet.
I am hoping some info here will help me find what I am after in my VERY limited budget. :)
I know what I want, but finding it is not so easy.
Anyhow hope to learn a little here, and perhaps even find my first Rolex. :)

I am after a.
My budget is tight, about 3k USD which is about 5k AUD after import duties to Australia.
Will go a little higher for the right watch :)
Rolex Datejust 2-tone Mens Watch 36mm in VG fine cond. and working well. :)
I would like a BLUE dial preferably, or white. Black as a third preference. I dont like the gold dials.
Even with the diamond hour markers if around.
Or with Roman numerals preferably.
With the original Rolex two-tone solid 18k yellow gold and stainless steel Jubilee bracelet in very good cond, not much stretch. :)
Probably around the 1980 to 1995 era.

Thanks again for the greetings.

I have decided on this unless someone thinks this is a bad choice.
I also have another member looking for me and if he finds nothing I think this may be my first Rolex.
Any thoughts appreciated.

Hi Dicko, sorry you missed out on the datejust. I was like you 1 year ago and wanted a Rolex so bad. My advice would be to increase your budget and keep looking locally with a reputable dealer like VWC. Then when the right watch bobs up, just buy it. My Rolex budget initially was max $6k but really doesn't get you much IMHO. Have fun looking! I did..Name: IMAG2413.jpg
