Will you do it to your 116500 DaytonaC

ive been thinking of swapping a 116509 slate dial to my white face DaytonaC for a couple of days already. I'm not sure if I should do it or not. I would like to hear your opinions. Pro and Cons

Thanks in advance!!!

If you're asking for opinions I love the dials that come with the DaytonaC (The black and the white) I think they look the best. It's no big deal to swap it though and see if you like it for a while, you can always go back. What does it cost to have the dial swapped?

Good plan and something I had in the pipeline should another white 116500 come in for me.

Another nice mod which I'm half way through is adding a glidelock clasp

I think 001 & 002 white and black dials are better than what you have but that's my opinion. When you swap the dials that are not originally matching the reference, AD will refuse to service it when it's due in for maintenance.
I love meteorite dials but I would not swap it with my 002 dial either

Not a chance for me. I believe that the two dials offered are the ultimate choices.

I would not do it. I prefer to keep my watch original as they cam from the manufacture. I also don't think a dial works as good as the black or white from Rolex.

Not a fan as much of the slate think it would look better on the SS/WG bezel

No. I had the same dichotomy.

Ceramic vs Panda

Panda always win...

On a new Daytona C? No way! On a different Daytona, yes.

Thanks for all your opinions.

As many of you mentioned "NO" on a new Daytona C and "yes" maybe to a different Daytona. I've come to a conclusion to keep my current DaytonaC original from manufacturer and just purchase a regular SS Daytona and modified the dial. Once again thanks and I truly appreciate your honest opinions, that's why I love this forum so much.

Just wanted to know why the numbers 4,5,7,8 are upside down. Don't you feel that it is difficult to read these numbers😆
