What will our friend Ben do on 1/1??

As many regulars on here will know one of our dear friends, Ben, has an addiction problem, and has banned himself from any watch purchases in 2016 accordingly.

It is therefore fair to assume that there will be about a dozen incomings queued up for January 1st onwards.

So, what do we think he should do and what are the contenders?

I think, it's about time Ben adds an AP with a nice complication to his collection. *cough Perpetual Calendar cough* Don't you guys think so?

That would be nice for sure, or maybe a special piece, I love the Messi pieces, probably my favorite AP RO chronos, or maybe we can bring him to the dark side, the PP dark side. LOL

Very excited to see Ben´s next incoming, whatever it might be.

Btw, I did exactly the same thing, banned myself from buying another watch for 365 days. This period ends today.

So where is the incoming thread Felix? What have you been waiting to buy?

Now, let's not get too far off from the topic. Roger, you need an incoming to celebrate the New Year as well!

I'm still holding out hope for the next 10 days that Ben buys something. If not I will owe him a sushi dinner in Singapore. Don't worry Ben we'll find one of the nice fast food places

LOL! Thanks for the thread Roger but I afraid I am going to disappoint you. Not planning to have an avalanche of incomings on 1/1 as nothing so far really entice me enough to buy. Something in WG perhaps as my current collection lacks one but the plan is to sit it out until SIHH and/or Baselworld 2017.

I do have one incoming planned though for early next year but a modest one. It's a chronograph, affordable ( relatively speaking ) and very iconic. Go guess..

Haha... You can already book the Sushi restaurant now. At least you only owe me a Sushi dinner. Someone is going to have to buy me a Champagne Sunday brunch at the best 5star hotel in Singapore.

Waiting till SIHH and Basel is a good idea, I'm doing the same.

As did I. But then I realized I wouldn't know when those 365 days had passed without a reliable annual calendar. Then it struck me that I wouldn't know whether that annual calendar was reliable without a second annual calendar to check it against. So, in order to impose the 365 day ban I first had to buy two more watches.

Nothing planned so far Roger, I might start the hunt for the next incoming after the holidays.

I´ve been interested in a platinum FPJ CS for quite some time now but there´s still something that keeps me from pulling the trigger, even after long deliberation.

You logic was fine up until the second AC – everyone knows you always reference an AC against a PC, in case there’s a leap year you forget to take into account with the former.
