Thank you all. Despite you being enablers, I am over the moon with this baby. Can hardly believe it's mine. Will see if this is a dream tomorrow morning, but am super excited. I appreciate all the kind words and will try to live up to the heritage of the watch.

I've already commented in this post but I just have to say another WOW!!!!!!! 31 YEARS of that paw-paw DJ and then BAM!!!! THE KING OF KINGS!!! This makes me think of selling my whole collection, pitch in some cash, and sail off into the sunset with this baby on my wrist......

For me, even after reading way too many posts here and getting all wound up about watches (lol), I didn't think I wanted to have a whole collection. Too much to take care of, service, have on winders, etc. Not for me, at least not right now... So the idea of a great watch that I could wear every day kind of made sense for me. Lots of people would rather have a few really nice ones instead of having so much tied up in one, but it appealed to me.

Oh, and for a few others who were rightly confused based on my not well articulated post: I was and am on the list for a SS Daytona with a very nice local AD, but opted to get the PT from DSW instead.
