Just got a 14060M!

Hey guys. Just walked in the door ten minutes ago after purchasing an '07 14060M (non-COSC). I had a couple questions...

From what I understand, the Z series of the non-COSC 14060Ms were the last produced before the change to COSC and the ROLEXROLEXROLEX on the rehaut. Now, the COSC also have the little laser-engraved crown at 6 o-clock on the dial, right? Well, so does mine. Just wondering if mine is a cool little quirky transitional model.

The watch is an '07, serial is Z71xxx, non-COSC, and has the laser-etched crown. Anyone else have this combo, or is this normal?

Thanks!

What a great watch..I think this is the cleanest coolest watch made. A non date sub..A TRUE divers watch. Does anyone really need a date display while diving??? Pics please......

If they update the sub, as some speculate, then the COSC no date will be a VERY short preduction run. But I still prefer the non-COSC JMHO

I agree, it could be the shortest prodction run next to the 168000. A COSC 14060M is certainly on my short list.

Thanks for the congrats, you guys. Sadly, the only pics I could offer are courtesy of my iPhone; therefore, I'd rather not compromise the timeless beauty of this classic with less-than-perfect photo quality. :)

Forgot to add that this is my first Rolex, and I absolutely could not be more in love with a timepiece. I'm nineteen, and the service was amazing was nothing short of perfect from WannaBuyaWatch. Most places in L.A. Wouldn't give me the time of day due to my age, much less let me check the time on one of their watches.

Laser engraved crowns heve been there for quite a while but NOT on the dial but on the glass. Congrats on your new watch BTW, the 14060m is a very cool watch. Quite some young Rolex owners nowadays.
