Just picked up a Rolex reference 2100. Wasn't cheap, but neither are the watches.

Timely topic. I have also been using the Wiha 1.8 on my Rolex (purchased it originally for my Omega bracelet), but recently picked up the "Panatime Stainless Steel Screwdriver 1.6 Exact OEM Copy Cutout End For Panerai Luminor" on Amazon, and find it too small--slides out of the slot too easily. Went back to the Wiha to adjust my Rolex bracelet and it works fine.

I also spotted the 2100 type tool on watch-tool.de and was tempted, but found no reviews. I'll be following this thread.

I'm glad to know that your experience has been similar to mine.

Price shipped was $11.63. If this is the one that's a bargain!

I just ordered the Wiha so we'll see how it is. Pretty cheap. Makes me have my doubts. :-) I ordered it none too soon. A screw started backing out of my SubC....a screw that is normally covered by the Glidelock clasp, but I just happened to fully extend the bracelet a few days ago.

I've had good luck with the Beco Technic set I bought recently. I've done a few watch jobs, including the bracelet on my new DJ II. So far, perfect fits. Not bad for a 7 piece set at $49.99 off ebay.

I received my PicoFinish Precision Slotted 1.8 x 40mm screwdriver within several days of ordering. It fits into the slot just fine but it is not tight. There is some play in it. It got the job done okay, however I'm not sure if the loose fit will slowly damage the screws.

I took a flat head for eyeglasses and filed it at 90 degrees to make it wider as you stated. I have yet to try this today! I can't imagine it not working well.

You won't need to exert too much pressure tightening the screws if you use a little Loctite.

Has anyone also found the fit of the PicoFinish Precision Slotted 1.8 x 40mm screwdriver to be loose?

Should I try to sandpaper down the screwdriver?

This $15.75 driver works perfectly. You just need a much smaller driver to secure the blade when it falls out though

Why sand it down if it's loose...?

I'm curious if you found the gold screwdriver to work as well as your hoped. Any thoughts?

As with the other guys, I'm curious if you like the gold driver. Any thoughts?

Yes, best fitting driver I've ever used on my GMT and Explorer. I haven't tried the Rolex 2100, but this one was designed to be an exact match, and it appears they succeeded.

Not bad. Second best to Ref. 2100 or so.

Great, thanks guys. I'm going to try to source a 2100 through my AD, but I'll use this as my back-up plan.
