Using Datejust jubilee on GMT?

Hi all!

Quite recently I have bought a 16710 GMT M2 on an oyster bracelet.
Though I like the look on an oyster, I am also keen on wearing it on a jubilee bracelet. My AD informed me that a jubilee will set me back about EUR 1200, which I find a bit too much.

While browsing several forums and auctions, I found that Datejusts are currently for sale for around EUR 2000-2500, and often include a 62510H jubilee!

This leads me to the following question: can I fit a 62510H jubilee that came with a Datejust (thus not having the '50' stamp) on my 16710? If so, which endlinks do I need to use to avoid having a gap where the bracelet connects to the case?

Thanks for sharing your advice!

You'll need 502T end links

Need is a relative term. It'll work with others.

Assuming this is for a "no holes" case and you want it to work without modification, you'll WANT the 502Ts.

I suppose any jubilee specific 20mm end links will work with some coaxing.

How would you remove the springbars from a no holes case if the backs of the endlinks were closed?

I agree you could make other ELs fit, but then how would you get the bracelet back off?

You can use the Jubilee from a DJ, but it will have a slight contour mis-match at the case which is covered up by the bezel. You will also need to use the DJ spring-bars as they are 1.8mm and the GMT uses 2.0mm.

You cannot use the GMT 502/T endlinks on a non-"50" 62510 bracelet because the end tubes will be a mismatch, 1.8mm bracelet tubes and 2.0mm endlink tubes.
