Same here...I really need to thin the herd and up the pedigree a bit.

2016 has been very good to me in terms of watch buying. I bought 2 out of 3 rolex models I have been contemplating. The current plan is to complete the trio in 2017 and settle for a time. I dont have any plans for buying in 2017 but my "release day ordered and paid for" Daytona C White dial.

Not sure if I should trade my TT GMT2c for a full gold money dial GMT2c.
Or trade my Bluesy for a full gold one. Thats my decision for 2017.

No new watches, hold onto my Explorer, and enjoy what I have.

Limit myself to just one watch purchase in 2017. If the urge gets too strong, I'll live vicariously through you guys!

I would only buy another Rolex in 2017 if a Sea-Dweller with red print is launched.

Plan on definitely adding: SD4k (will add a 5 digit seadweller as well if I find the right one), any and all Tudor 76100/79090/79190 that I find in proper condition (to me) -->(this has been a burgeoning part of my collection in the past 6 months), a Grand Seiko SBGX115 or 117 (haven't decided yet) and if the wallet allows I would love a D-Blue.

This planning and thought is the most entertaining part of the hobby imo.

I'm done for the year unless the new releases for 2017 are outstanding or if I can find an outstanding red Sub. Already 2 incomings this short year, D- Blue and a Smurf .I'm finally content.

My resolutions...

Add one more PM and/or one more SS to the stable...still thinking that one through.

But more importantly, enjoy what I have more.

You know, the RG YM on oyster flex has been steadily creeping up the radar screen for about the last month or so. But...would love to see one in the flesh and try it on before making the commitment. Decisions, decisions...

Bluesy sub here. Political climate here has gone to hell so no need to fund other hobbies. Back to watches.
