RSC > dial/bezel question

All
If I were to call RSC, and give them the model and serial number of any year Rolex, could they validate to me the exact style of bezel and dial that watch left the factory with, bound for an AD?

Thanks,
DM

Probably not.

Rolex wants to know that you are the owner of a watch before releasing any information - at all, and so you seldom get anything on a phone call. If you take the watch into an RSC they will tell you what it should, should-not, have.

They do respond to letters, although, again, perhaps not specifics about a particular unverified serial number.

I do own the watch.
I was hoping I could save time, but will send a letter. I would be grateful to know the exact type bezel and dial the watch had at manufacture date.
Thank you,
DM

Do I need to send my inquiry letter to Rolex headquarters in Europe, or a Rolex Service Center, USA? Which Center would be quicker to reply, if you have any experience with obtaining information?
Thanks,
DM

Send it to Rolex USA if you live in the US.

It has been my experience that they may follow-up with a personal phone call to you.
