Service Question
I recently had my 16710 serviced by my local dealer, hes not authorized but very reputable.
I received the watch back and its a bit difficult to wind, not as smooth as I remember and certainly not as much as some of my other pieces. Any thoughts/feedback on this? Is it indicative of an issue or does it just need to be worn in a bit? Appreciate any insight |

Sounds like a question for your reputable dealer.

Just curious, but why did you choose an unauthorized shop over a Rolex Service Center?

OP, when I get the front end done on my car the steering gets tight for a while. Maybe a similar analogy makes sense with watch service. It could just need a little "break in" period. |

Normal from RSC is buttery smooth, light click feel with no wiggle room whatsoever.

Tough to wind. Winding tube and or steam for starters. Send it to RWSC.

Funny, I was noticing the same thing with my 16710 the other day. I had it serviced last year by a very reputable CW21 watchmaker on this site but I rarely wear it. I was thinking maybe because I'd gotten so used to my SD4000 which is much newer that that's how older watches are. Maybe I should PM the watchmaker?
