Buying a Rolex is like buying a car – when you find one that not only drives nicely, but makes you grin every time you see it - you’ll know you’ve got it right
But just like a car, it can be expensive if you change your mind later Take your time, and get it right – when you’re absolutely sure that another one in that (insert parameters here) condition won’t come along for a few years – pull the trigger As for “papers” – I bought my Rolex new (well, one of them anyway), only to have the box and papers stolen a year later. Fortunately, the watch was on my wrist at the time (and still is). It happens, and is probably more common than you’d think for these things to part company. If you’re looking at an investment, it can count – if you’re looking at a gift, probably not. Same thing goes for replacement parts – but bear in mind that they would only have been replaced if they no longer came up to Rolexes high standards She’d better be worth it is all I can say ……… |
