Deep Blue & BLNR

Couldn't belive it. Jewelry store in west bend Wisconsin had both BLNR and blue deep sea in stock. Never would have thought.

That's it !!! I'm upping sticks and moving to the US. There are people working for ADs here in the U.K. that have never seen those two in stock at the same time.

There is an AD in Atlanta that routinely has an extensive inventory. The last time I was there, they had all the diver watches grouped together. That's the first time I saw a blue deep sea. Decided on the spot the watch was way too big for me. Kind of like Big Ben on a bracelet.

Why is the UK starved for Rolex watches?

I got pics comparing the DSSD's. I'll look at then and post if not too terrible. Lighting was hard to work with.

Curiousity got the best of me. Looks like they're selling at MSRP: 12,050 for black 12,350 for deep blue. Didn't ask about discount as I'm not looking to purchase. But figured id provide those on the forum with the information.

I've been trying to locate one since November, ended up just getting the black one but then I popped in my AD for something and there it was, had to take it home.

It looks cool, and if I didn't already have a DSSD I might have thought of it differently, but it just really didn't have the wow factor the BLNR has or the Black DSSD did when I initially tried it on. But that's what makes this hobby fun...everyone has different tastes.

Yes, I've heard people are getting DB more easily. Maybe Rolex just completed a large production run.......
