Rolex Date 1500 restoration project
Hi all,
Feeling so proud that I actually got to restore one of my grandfather's watches. Before: Two 50+ year old Oyster perpetual date in pretty bad shape. After: One is back to life, with an interim replacement leather band (the original bracelet was also restored, but I actually prefer a rubber/leather style, any recommendations on where to find a good one?) Next up: the 2nd watch, time to find some more replacement parts! |

Did you end up finding a leather band for it? I ask cause I'm looking for one for my perpetual date 1500. Thanks.
