116000 hand sweap

Does the sweap of the second hand vary between movements.
My 116000 does not seem as smooth as say a GMT.

The size, color and shape of the second hand can vary how the hand seems to sweep. They all have an 8 'tick' per second movement.

Your 116000 has the same number of 'ticks' per second as a GMT, Datejust, Submariner, etc.
