Advice Hulk with chipped pearl

I have a Hulk that has a chipped pearl. I was thinking about selling this Hulk to fund another purchase. Trying to decide if I should sell as is or send it in to Rolex. This is a G-Serial no longer under warranty but Rolex does not cover this under warranty. The replacement is about $500

I would love your thoughts and advice.

Thank you!

It was my understanding that a Rolex now has a tool that makes it possible to just replace the pip not the entire insert. Shouldn't be anywhere near $500.00, good luck.

Sell as-is. It will sell either way. It's a bargaining point. The watch is used. Sell as used and negotiate on a replacement dial based on the cost.

My thoughts would be to have it repaired as a minimum and maybe serviced too. A potential buyer will certainly expect a discounted price with the cracked pearl.
A fresh service might be a selling point but they don't come cheap at about $600 assuming nothing major wrong with the watch.

Is that a chip in the bezel insert by the #8 hash mark or just dust?

I'd fix and keep it. It's a great watch.

Looks like the ceramic bezel on the subs aren't too shatter prone after all.
You would think a knock to the pip big enough to shatter it like that would crack the ceramic.

You want to sell the watch based on a chipped pearl?
wouldnt it be easier and cheaper to fix it?
Cant Vanessa or any reputable center fix this?

and if you do sell, where would you use the funds?
just curious..:)

That can be the source of bezel cracks, but this looks like it survived.

I'd either get it repaired prior to selling or reflect it on the selling price.
If you're going PM sub, my suggestion would be a six-digit as you know the glidelock it's a great feature.
