Very bad accuracy values lol. My watch was losing 5-6 seconds per day. 44mm ROO.

I've had three different APs, all with the 3120 and they were within 10 seconds a day give or take. Not Rolex accurate but good enough for me.

Thank you, guys!
No, we don't want to compare accuracy with Rolex or another watch brand!
Only want to know what is accuracy of AP!

My 15407 is pretty accurate.. a second or two a day either way depending on how i store it overnight so over the first week wearing it daily was tack on. My AP ROO chrono is starting to loose more time. I am testing now but I believe I am between year two and three or just into 3 and I am debating about sending it in. My new Pride of Italy not sure yet.

My 3120 movement RO 15300 runs steady at -2 sec/day, very pleased with it.

Thank you for answear guys!
I post this question because I think we who loved AP watch need to know in what range we can consider our watch work good.
I think we all are interested about this IMO
I check but I don't find anywear an answear.

There is a free iPhone app from Emerald & Sequoia which runs a check from four different servers and provides you very accurate time, and also gives you a number that tells you how far off the iPhone clock is, i.e. the difference between time on the iPhone's clock and actual time.

While this difference used to be substantial on earlier releases of the iPhone, on my 7 it generally comes in the range of a few hundreths of a second. So basically you can use your iPhone if you've got one, just download this app and make sure it's as accurate in your region as mine is here.

My 15400 is almost ten seconds per day fast. Haven't measured but I think my 15707 is a couple of seconds slow.

Honestly while I looked into this when I first started buying mechanical watches in earnest, I stopped worrying about it and wouldn't screw with getting watch adjusted inter-servicing unless it is pretty egregious.

If watch is losing time I set it a few minutes fast, while if it's gaining it I set it a few minutes slow, this helps but only if I'm going to be wearing it for several days running, which, generally speaking, I don't. :)

I had some early 3120/3126 movements with a rebanking issue that caused them to run fast but only when worn during activity. AP serviced them and they have ran around +3 to 5 seconds a day. All my later H series and I series run +1 to 5 depending on wear and how I rest them overnight.

look up posts by me. Somewhere in there I posted my accuracy of my 15710 at about 8 second per day if i recall correctly. The watch got magnetized and was ridiculous after that. clearwater made it plus 2 seconds per day i think. i gave them -1 to +2 and that lasted for about a year and recently it went to the new canadian authorized service centre and layth made it plus 5 second per day. he said ap recommends plus 5-7 per day and don't like to adjust it to a negative. i asked for between -2 and + 2 and he said this was better. ap clearwater did tell me "Please note that the tolerance for this timepiece is up to +12 seconds."

Ok guys so I just bought a AP 26320 a couple of weeks back, decided to check it's accuracy but the problem is its second hand (the one At 6 o clock) doesn't stop even when you pull out the crown fully to adjust the time (like it does in most watches). Meaning I cannot control the second or make it sync with my device or website that Comparing it with .... so what to do

Math. So basically you set it to within one minute of correct time, and do the math to figure out the difference in seconds between your watch and actual time, then track this difference.

So for example if your seconds hand is at 20 seconds while true time is at 0, your marker is 20 seconds fast. You can then monitor this once a day to see where it goes, i.e. if after two days your watch is now at 25 sec while true time is at zero then it's 5 sec fast over two days, or 2.5 sec/day; conversely if it's at 15 sec you'd be 2.5 sec/day slow, etc.

So the Chronos are non hacking?

Sometimes if you turn the minute hand back slightly it will pause the second hand on non hacking movements. Not my recommendation necessarily as I'm not sure if it's bad for the movement, but I've seen several people do it.

You can also use the iOS app "Watch Tracker." I've found that it's really good at both providing a time hack and charting deviations over time. Link: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/watc...610666926?mt=8

I used to a bit obsessed about my Rolexes accuracy but not since I got my 15400 a few months back.

When I have it on my wrist, I'm too enamored with the mesmerizing blue dial and beautiful lines of the 15400's bracelet and bezel to worry about a few seconds a day.

Having said that, I sometimes wear it a week at any one time on rotation and the past 5 months, the few times I observed it been running at -3s/d, +1.2s/d, +2s/d and +5.5s/d with various positions/conditions (on wrist, the winder, crown up, on dial etc).
Mind you, I was only using the WatchCheck (Android) app.

I don't think AP watches are accurate. Sometimes I think they will slow by 20 to 30 secs, or a min. But I don't really bother too much as I rotate my watches every other day.

My most accurate watch is my JLC Duometre. Pin-point accurate, even after days passed.

So I just calculated my nEw ROC accuracy using the watch tracker app over 9 days and my result was +1.8 seconds/day.... I think that's pretty good

I wear each watch about 2-3 days, so the accuracy may not be a big problem for me.

my 44mm roo is the most accurate watch i have ever owned (5 rolex and 3 ap)..all my AP's when worn were more accurate than my rolex's...but if you don't wear it for a day or so it can be off several minutes....i find if i wear every day then i lose like 10 secs a week, sometimes less...thats sick accurate
