Just wanted to share my newly serviced DS-2
Hi guys
I just got my Certina DS-2 back from service...and frankly...it looks lika a million bucks What I really like about these watches is the toughness. They are made to withstand the most harsh environments - hence the yellow shock absorbing 'DS (double security) rubber-ring' surrounding the movement, etc. It's a true vintage beater! Here are some pics of my DS: Here's a display model (not mine), notice the thick acryllic crystal, and the yellow DS rubber ring (cut): |

I really like that tonneau, circular shaped cases that seemed much more popular back then. Very cool and distinctive when compared to todays watch designs. Thanks for sharing the pics, looks great.

That watch was built like a tank. It's incredibly rugged looking.
