Dual incoming!!

I picked up a couple Monteverde Invincia's on eBay the other day (third on the way as well). I was able to pick up both pens new for less than half of the cost of one of the pens retail I've had my eye on the blue cap pen for a while since it matches one of my cars Both have medium black nibs and write smooth. The blue pen nib has some baby's bottom issues so I'll need to work on that. I'm thinking about grinding it to a wide untipped stub nib. Got a spare medium nib if I mess it up. Maybe a 1.5mm stub or so.

Thanks guys. I've been enjoying the budget Monteverde's lately. Really great pens for the money. It also gave me an excuse to finally modify a medium nib to a stub without worry of replacing an expensive nib My collection of Monteverdes has grown to 5 pens this month

I have been looking at these more and more and when I start buying again I will add a couple of them to the pen case.

Can't hardly go wrong for the price. Kind of like the Retro 51 line. Fun, functional, and affordable.

And I love their logo. If you look closely you will see an M and a V in the mountain range.
