Waiting list london

Hi all,

To start this is my first post, so hello to all!

Around July last year I decided to add my first Rolex to the collection (better late than never) and settled on the BLNR. I contacted my guy at the large AD in London and he happily put me on the list (he isn't part of the Rolex team). I called about a 1.5 months ago and as of then I was apparently 3rd on the list. Called again last week, spoke to someone else and they refused to tell me where I was on the list and that they cannot guarantee anything (fair enough). I've been hearing a lot that unless they like you, you're unlikely to get your hands on a watch..

1) Is this sort of wait time or response normal?
2) Does it sound like i should start looking at the grey market?

Thanks for any comments or advice!
