Rolex DateJust 116203 Bracelet help.
Hi Guys, I hope you can help.
I've just purchased a Rolex DateJust 116203 2010 two tone, smooth bezel from my regular watch dealer who I have had a number of successful Rolex purchases from. I received delivery of it today. The watch looks beautiful and is exactly what I wanted to add to my collection. I was surprised when I put in on my wrist that the bracelet was tight and after wearing it for ten minutes then taking it off it left an imprint on my skin. I discovered the 5 ml extension function which loosened it up a bit. But if my wrist swells up in hot weather is going to be a squeeze. My wrists are small at 17.5 cm approx 6.85 inches. I always have to remove links from my Rolexs oyster band watches. I'm now wondering if 2 of the non removable links one from each side have been removed and the previous owner has smaller wrists than mine and it was adjusted in that way. The are 3 non removable on each side of the watch, then the removable ones. Does this bracjlet look complete or is it missing somthing? Any help as I've tried finding examples on the internet but cant get a clear picture. |

There are 2 links missing from your bracelet on the extension link side.

Thanks very much for your help guys, I appreciate your input . I'm extremely disappointed after spending 5k on a watch that I'm unable to wear. I'm going to have to ask the seller to take it back. :(. I really wanted to wear it this weekend.

Cheers, The dealer has said he'd send me a link. So I'm a little bit happier.
Trouble is It's going to bug me knowing I'm one link down on the bracelet. In a few years I might want to consolidate my collection so could possibly flip it. Anyone know where to buy two tone oyster links? I bet they're expensive. |

I would demand two pieces, not just one link! (or cashback for the other missing piece).
....Always same story here with (a small group of) certain dealers... (grey channel the mostly) They offer a little bit cheaper then average market price, but take out some links*before, to make same (royal) margin. So they can sell them separatly *(same counts for tags, inner or outer boxes etc) Quote:
