Ex2 Polar doesn't do precious metals!

Is the Explorer II Polar the only current Rolex built without any precious metals?

No, the explorer I, explorer II black dial, air king and sea dweller have all been produced in stainless steel only.

They have 18k white gold hands & hour markers the Polar doesn't - or does Rolex paint over them ?

All gold is yellow.

White gold is yellow gold + silver (to make it white)
(As a general rule)

So thats most likely gold mixed with a different metal to make it dark.

Haha better not mention that "Black Gold" nomenclature to any Taiwanese, especially politicians, then..."Black Gold" refers to bribe money there.

Howdy,

Jed Clampett would respectfully disagree.

Take care,
