It looks gigantic!
So that's what Rolex is doing also? Chrono watch with No crown guards?

No thanks. Thickness and the hands kill it for me. Not a real chrono fan anyways but this was a let down for first Basel piece I have seen this year. Hopefully some others will be more intriguing.

I think it's actually kinda cool, but I really don't get the snowflake hands on a chrono...

Pass all around. Don't know what they were thinking with this one.

Such an opportunity to make this cool...but they f'd up almost every aspect of it.

The in-house column wheel chrono movement is cool though. Even AP can't seem to accomplish that!

Like the movement, not wild about the watch.......too bad they didn't do the three sub dial version. Oh well, I'm old and out of the demographics, I'd better look for a pre-owned big block chrono or the one that came right after.

I was hoping Tudor would re-release this model, but someone in their design department really messed this one up!

Looks like a denim strap, like Hublot before them. Please Tudor do not release anything else this year, its just not your year.

I have to say, I quite like the look of the blue one (probably prefer a bracelet mind you). At least it doesn't have all the faux heritage colours which are not my bag. Can't say I love the chrono but let's see what else is in store....

I hoped Tudor would release a chrono as the fast rider collection was a bit poor. But I agree with the majority the black bay chrono is a let down...I think its trying to be a jack of all trades with the diver hands and tachy scale but its ended up being a bit of a mess. Personally prefer 3 sub dials over 2 sub dials. Respect to Tudor for creating an in house chrono movement with a date and water resistant to 200m but will give this one a miss.

Actually seems it depends all lot from the pictures. In this one from Time+Tide it doesn't look that bad.

Unlike Tudor, when I come up with something good, I stick with it ;)

I wonder if they might change the hands, like they changed the endlinks on the BB Dark before final release. That 45 min timer will be largely unreadable from about 2 to 4 oclock.

What a strange watch, in terms of esthetics.

It may sell nevertheless, due to the brand name.

Lets take Tudor elements and copy a modern Speedmaster dial layout and = FAIL

Stop being a cheap Rolex or an Omega knockoff!

The original Big Blocks were a lot better executed.

This release won't keep me up all night.
