I know it's not to everyone's taste...

But it makes me smile every time I wear it

I don't why you would apologize for this watch. I was expecting a Leopard Daytona, fully polished sub or some such heresy.

It's definately to my taste.
I am not a PM fan in watches but the looks sweet tbh.
Very cool with the tatts, wear it with pride.

Beautiful watch!

I find that our taste changes after a while, and sometimes a watch needs to be seen in its element to be admired.

As an owner of two tone bluesy, I never cared for the black/gold version... until a year or two ago I saw a nice picture of the GMT two tone on a pilot's hand in the cockpit, with all the cockpit dials in gold/black and the gold/black uniform stripes... that picture made me fall in love with this color combo.

Truly a beautiful watch, although a bit under appreciated in the used market as shown by the price it goes for, especially compared to its SS brother. Majority of buyers (especially younger crowd) seem to be more interested in a sporty SS than two tone.

That's a nice watch. Congrats.

I'm a convert to TT watches and I think they are having a resurgence as of late.

Long gone are the days where they're just seen as car dealers pieces, they're beautifully classic in their own way and just ooze a touch of class that even the full PM watches miss.

It is a gorgeous piece. I recently ventured into the world of two tone and I am hooked. The yellow gold gives it a very nice touch!

Pure class!

No watch is, but that is a beauty, I actually first tried this on thinking it was a black SS subc in the bright washed out lights of the ADs and I thought damn this SS really has some zing! so I have a soft spot for this watch, and the new TT TBB, which is at a very nice price.

Looks really nice that, I'd definitely love one of those. Just the right about of gold to compliment the black dial. Very nice mate.

great pic, the more I see this, the more I think I like it better than my blue TT.
Something about that black face that sings

Awesome - and it's the black face and bezel insert that makes this work so well. So much depth and elegance.

And brushed gold center links would look even better (just kidding, folks)....

If you're going TT the black dial is they way to go. But my opinion of your watch is irrelevant, yours is the only one that matters.
