Rarity of Mens 1984 Rolex Datejust Tiffany and Co

Does anyone know how many of this specific watch was made I am having trouble finding information about it and have done my fair share of searching for the watch. I just recently purchased one for 1600 and was wondering why it was so cheap. Maybe it was very massed produced?

With the Tiffany branded watches its mainly the sports models get the premium prices. And their is a lot of faked dials out there, so unless you have the Tiffany paperwork to prove genuine Tiffany dial its just another DJ.

My father passed his along to me. Sadly, he threw out all the papers and box. I don't ever plan on selling, so value is of little concern here. I agree with Peter, it's the sports watches that demand the premiums anyway. I must however admit, I like the Tiffany and Co branding, it's different.

The acrylic has to be replaced on the watch, but the band is in good condition and everything seems to be factory rolex and 18k.

I am not sure I have an intention of selling it I was just wondering after the glass is changed on the watch I may just sell my other datejust that is a little older and wear this one because I do think it is unique regardless. I just didn't know if it would have any other differentiating markings anywhere on the watch. My local watch person looked at the movement and everything and confirmed the authenticity of it being a Rolex.
