I'm After Rolex Submariner 116610LN 116610 Brand New / Stickers / Warranty

Hello Guys - newbie here. I am after a brand new submariner (black face date) with stickers on and a 5 year warranty, box and paperwork.

Anyone selling any on here or have any 'incoming'. I would be interested in buying as they need to be shipped to UK with paypal payment or face to face?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Nick.

Also the seller must have previous references on sold items so I know I'm dealing with a genuine seller

Harry can't you find one at an AD? Worth ringing around :)

Not sure if DavidSW (search for him) does international or not. If he does, your problem is solved.

Incorrect...he is in London, UK.

With conversion, DavidSW price is slightly higher than brand new AD price here in the UK. Add in the UK VAT that would be payable and the price is way over U.K price.

Sadly not the easy solution you think. Best to get names on lists and ring around. Subs aren't impossible to find.

I thought they were impossible to find, due to currency exchange advantage and foreign buyers, hence suggesting DavidSW for peace of mind of the buyer.

op, good luck with your hunt. Finding a local one would always be best, of course.

Thanks guys. Yes waiting lists can be around a few months without any guarantees. I'm looking for international sellers now as I've got a datejust 2 silver & gold bi tone black face Roman numerals (new and 3 weeks old) that I am selling and making room for the sub as I'm not a fan of gold lol - not sure why I even bought it as Iprefer Stainless Steel (brushed)

I've been in contact with a few sellers from the states who are happy with PayPal but it's just the import tax issue which some are willing to reduce or waive (but they are used watches but if it's in very good as new condition with stickers and no scratches/marks then I may buy)

Keep trying in the UK, one will emerge soon, or if you are going abroad stay in the EU so no VAT import issues at customs, altho the weak pound will mean it still will be more expensive for a new one.

I would say your best bet is to set yourself a distance on how far you are willing to travel, go onto the Rolex website and enter your postcode and set distance and call every single AD on the list within that distance and add yourself to all of their lists, let them know you are on a list for other AD's and see who calls back first.

I think you may be plensently surprised how quickly you will get called back. I done this exact same thing and was initially told around 4 months, picked it up 2 weeks later.

Let AD's know they are competing against each other and it's surprising how quickly they change their tune.

Best bet is an AD but you will need to be patient, but there seem to be more SS sports models available in the U.K. than there has been for quite a few months. Set aside a couple of hours and phone around a few within a radius that you are prepared to travel. Good luck

Just read Wargs post..... What he said.
