BEWARE: jjbenj / "Joyce J Benjamin"

Got a PM from a newly registered user in this board, jjnbenj, regarding my WTB post.

Troll claimed to have a 1802 for sale, owned by her late husband.

First flag:
Got some photos via email, quick google search matched the photos to the following source, while the scammer claims to take it themselves.

Oh well, I thought... Why not entertain the idea?

Second flag:
I asked for pictures of the box and papers claimed to be available with the watch. The quickly responsive and "kind old lady" suddenly took some time to respond.
The morning after I received a photo of some papers, with the explanation (and I quote) "Had to use my kids to find the papers lol"
Yeah, right....
A quick google search actually traced the photos provided this time to a sale post on this board dating to October 2013 (won't link to it, do not want to risk anyone confusing a legitimate member with this scam)
Watch was obviously not the same one- the one "offered" was a black dial, while this time it was dark blue dial. Second batch of photos were scaled down to ~40% of the original resolution, assuming to minimize risk of the victim catching on to the trick.

The email address used [email protected] was also recognized by Google as a board spammer.



TL;DR
BEWARE of the user jjbenj , "Joyce J Benjamin", trying to sell a high end watch or even a garden hose...
