Real or fake??

Wondering if you could help me out. I purchased a 114060 at Mayors. Have had the watch for over a year. Today I took the watch to pawn shop to try to sell it. pawn took the band off of the watch they claimed to get the model number. I have done business with them before and all has gone smooth. When I returned to the car and put the watch on, I noticed the band was put on backwards and there were red stickers on the clasp! I could have swore that I had removed all stickers from the watch. When I brought the watch back inside of the pawn shop, I asked the guy, " did you switch the clasp on me? " to which he said, " no I'm on cameras I don't do that." I said again, " did you really switch the clasp on me?" To which he responded, " no, and if you ask me again I'm going to be offended. " I'm almost certain he switched the clasp. On the drive home I removed the red stickers. I'm pretty furious about the whole situation. I thought this was a reputable store, I am seeking an expert opinion on the clasp and watch current condition. Thank you!!!! Your opinion is much appreciated!! Watch I bought at mayors 2016 model.

Do you have photos?
Why did you remove any stickers? Surely that is removing evidence?
Do you have photos of your watch (without stickers) prior to going into Pawn Shop.

FYI. no one would remove the complete bracelet if they only want to see model number!!

Most Pawn shops will have cameras, so police can look at them if you can prove anything amiss

Sorry brother...but it's going to take more than one picture? Going to need picture of the clasp at multiple angles showing the Rolex engravings on the clasp more pics of the glide lock as well?

It is possible the guy at the pawn shop didn't know which side of the bracelet to take the bracelet off to expose the serial number
(Six o clock side or twelve o clock side) Thinking it's a older model sub.. But any pawn shop owner that knows his watches would know without taking the bracelet off he could look at the Rehault engravings he could ID the watch given its a newer ceramic sub. So something is suspect here?

@MonBK. Would you mind elaborating brutal honesty. I already ate most of those tums.

So, he took the bracelet off out of site? I don't see why he needed to be out of site of the customer to do that simple task? This would have eliminated the who situation.

Were there any distinguishing marks or scratches on your bracelet?

Looks good to me as well
The end of 2016 they changed the clasp engraving from matted black and grey to polished engravings which is on most all 2017 ceramics now

Some questionable practices on their part. As others stated, why didn't he verify the serial # by looking at the rehaut?
Why didn't you have him remove the bracelet in front of you?
Also, I'm sure you knew how your bracelet was adjusted and if you had any links taken out when purchased. Do you notice any differences in fit(number of links) or glidelock?
And what was their explanation for the red stickers?

Narlin23, are the pics you posted with the allegedly switched bracelet? Perhaps you have pics PRIOR to the pawn shop visit.
What's the name of the place?

There is NO serial number anymore at 6.00 O clock. NO reason to remove whole bracelet, just at 12.00 to see model.
I wonder if he changed the movement too?

The bracelet seems to fit just fine. I was freaked out because he put the band on backwards and I do not remember seeing small red stickers on the clasp. I thought he changed clasp. I was looking at other items in the store so I did not stand over and watch the entire time (my mistake, I should have) I have done a lot of business with this pawn shop so I do not wish to blast them especially when I am uncertain if I got screwed or not? At the time I left I definitely felt something wrong because of inverted bracelet. These pictures were taken after I left the pawn shop. Unfortunately, I do not have photos of watch prior to visit.

Are you sure that by the bracelet fitted incorrect, it did not just expose the original labels.
I dont think anything tricky, if the guy did it while you were arouund.
There are about 22 of these stickers on a bracelet, you may just have missed a couple

If a pawnbroker hasn't seen a newer Sub, he may not know that the serial is no longer between the lugs. I do trade work for for a number of pawn shops, I get all of their Rolex watches to recondition. I've only had one with an engraved rehaut in the last 5 years. Very few of the pawn shops I work with know anything about Rolex other than basic stuff.
