this confuses me as I've heard it several times concerning this piece. Its priced just right comparatively to the older WG model with the blue dial, non ceramic bezel, and bracelet. The new WG is £6400 less with the strap vs the older bracelet model. So if its priced too high at £21k, then how can the WG on bracelet possibly be justified at £27k? Obviously its an expensive watch but relative to the entire Daytona line as a whole it is priced right where it should be.

If Rolex had the price any lower, the SS daytona grey market prices in the UK would be higher than the RRP of the new WG model. Its all relative i guess.

Yup it's 21K for WG and RG, and on bracelet it would be £27/8K so it's priced fairly and the same as on the old leathers. I think comments are that it's just a lot of money for a rubber strap watch, but at least this is in PM unlike more expensive PP and AP options.
