You do have a Speedy Pro which is the same size? I actually think the Speedy is a little larger with the pushers.

The super maxi dial is unique in the Rolex line up. Why the more usual Rolex Divers aren't this size I now find quite perplexing as to my eye it would make the perfect dial for any Divers watch. Very legible, uncluttered and easy to read. It also doesn't shout 'I'm a Rolex' as obviously as subs, GMT's etc do which makes it appealing to me at least.
Only had this about a month and so far it hasn't been off my wrist. It wears beautifully on my 7" wrist and imagine would do the same on your 6.5". It's as tough as old boots, dresses up and down extremely well and like everyone else who's bought one, I'm pleasantly surprised just how much I really do appreciate it more than my other Rolex in so many ways. It's a keeper for sure. I love it. Pull the trigger, you won't be disappointed I assure you.
I love the side by side comparison of the 3 watches. The Exp II doesn't look much larger than the GMT at all. Love how they are all so different. Beautiful watches.

I absolutely love my Polar Exp II. Here's a few wide shots from a few weeks ago in the Southern Caribbean (don't mind the Omega hat, AD threw it in while shopping down there :-))

And a side by side, compared to the BLNR. The Polar does wear a little bigger, but in a good way. It's incredibly comfortable and looks amazing.

Completely agree with this. In fact, if I could only wear one watch for the rest of my life it would be the Polar Exp. II. You can dress it up and down and it goes anywhere and does everything. Just took it on vacation and wore it on ATVs, Jetskis, Scuba Diving, out by the pool, and with a suit at dinner. Very versatile and amazing watch.

The exp2 42mm wears pretty similar to the GMT and subc as the lugs are more tapered. Theres no getting round it though, it is a larger sized sports watch so if you have small wrists, like I do, I would advise trying and looking in the mirror. I tried my on, it was a sunny day I was wearing a white shirt, and it looked stunning in the mirror.

Fantastic pictures everyone. I think this makes it a lot easier to make a decision. I'll definitely be visiting my AD at least a couple more times and hopefully pull the trigger. I love how it's a beautiful piece, but pretty unique. Don't think I've ever seen an explorer while I see datejusts and subs pretty routinely.

It's interesting how perspective makes such a big difference. The GMT looks bigger than the Exp in this one.

That is interesting... has anyone measured lug to lug with calipers to see if there is a difference ?

You're thinking too much about the technicalities. This watch obviously sings to you, and 6.75" flat wrists are great for it. I say you pull the trigger

My wrist is 6.5" and I ultimately let my 216570 go because I could not shake the feeling it looked too big. Only you can decide for yourself. Overall it's a great watch so you can't go wrong if you do buy it.
