Everest Rolex Band / Strap Opinion ?

I like some of the looks but I just cant deal with some of the gaps that the everest bands leave in between the watch and band. Here's a comparison between the blue one posted earlier and the rubberb I have on my Daytona. I know it's not great to compare on two separate watches but the devil is in the details. I'd love to set up a comparison on the same watch to see what the pros and cons of both are.

The band is made/bought for the 16610, it just happens to fit this 114300, albeit with a bit of a gap.
