Replace dial and hands by serive
Why replace Rolex by service the dial and the hands????
Is this only when the tritium is not more active and replace the dial and hands by luminova?? When I see older rolex watches it looks to me that the hands and dial is in good condition, but I not a watchmaker or specialist. |

Sometimes it's a legal requirement i.e. in Germany the RSC replaces each tritium dial because of the poisonous material.
In other parts of the world most probably only if the lume does not work or is not stable anymore.

Besides whats already mentioned - hands can be ruined while pulling them off the watch. They're press fit, so sometimes they loosen up too much and have to be replaced.
