The pouch you're asking about has an inner 'card' which is also felt-covered, and is inserted between the case back & bracelet, so as no part of the watch can rub metal-to-metal in the pouch.

Even the button fastener's internal part is covered by a little felt flap to prevent scratching.

As stated already, it's a Rolex service pouch, so it's meant for the job, but not impact-proof.

Love the Rolex display "shrine"
I use a standard watch box but I need to transport all my pieces over to Cyprus very soon so need some advice on inexpensive watch travel pouches or rolls for upto 20 or 30 watches, depending on how many I leave at my parents.
