This came to mind when I viewed a post about if there was any way to tell if a kermit was real, and basically the short answer was not without paperwork as people can make the changes to a standard one as the model numbers were the same. This is also true of the 116500LN Ceramic Daytona. It was more of a hypothetical question of say 10-15 years from now if the white face still demands a premium over the black if it would become impossible to prove that it came with the white face unless you specifically had the US warranty card for confirmation
