I keep seeing all of the Tumi praise around here, so I might just have to buy one. I don't really understand it though. I have some cheap luggage from Amazon that has held up fine. A three piece set cost me less one piece of Tumi. Is it really worth it?

The finish is very nice and quality zippers are great.
I roll up my jeans and can put in 7 days worth of clothes in this carry on, it's perfect

The quality of our Tumi roller bag is very high. Whether the quality is worth the cost is an age old question. If you are frugal and don't travel much, Tumi may not be for you.

Frugal when it comes to specific things and I travel for pleasure only. I am not sure if I am lucky or unlucky in the fact that I never travel for work.

nice carry-on.

so, is Samsonite now like Tudor and Tumi the Rolex? or the other way around since Samsonite owns Tumi?

(i'll see myself out)

Why has Tumi only one 2 wheel carry-on on their website?
I HATE 4 wheeled carry-on luggage. But love Tumi.
