Good luck to you. I too will often choose the enjoyment of what I eat over its apparent 'healthiness'.

That said... (and spoken from a absolutely unqualified perspective) I believe different people metabolise the things we put into our bodies in completely different ways.

To hear that someone's granddad ate, smoked and drank his way into his nineties without any ill effect doesn't mean we can all get away with it.

So I decided to give it a shot and damned if it didn't work. In fact, I asked my doc if I could remove one med, and he agreed. The result was my numbers went up again. The theory is if you consume foods w/ cholesterol you body doesn't need to produce it.

So for me, and we are all individuals, 2 specific meds and a couple eggs a day (when available) work best. And I love eggs!

You're right. Each body is different however genetics plays a huge role in many ways, including cholesterol and heart disease.

Cheers to your good health Rick.

I've always had great cholesterol and blood pressure numbers. I also weigh exactly what I did when I was in highschool. I chalk it up to everything in moderation and luck in the genetics pool.

I just wish I could buy a new foot
