CE delimma
Hello fellow WIS's,
I decided to get a 44 and now between 2 options: - keep CE dive,r that I really like, and get the ti 44 - let go of the CE diver and get the 44 CE (will probably have to pay $9K or so on top) I'm torn between the ti and the CE. Both are good in their own way. Love the descrete yet eye catching CE and also love the pop of the ti and the grey theme. What would you do? I would love to have both but that's. It possible unfortunately. |

I'd get the CE44. I love the new model with the RG markers & date. It really pops. I owned the Ti it's a nice watch but h2h it loses to the CE in my opinion. Also not many CE44's around so more exclusive than the Ti.

Keep your Diver no way I'd let that go! Pair it with the Ti for a killer duo.

I prefer TI to the all black new CE, and pairs nicely with the Diver.

Since you really like the CE diver why let it go? Letting go of a piece is usually at a loss. Just save up for next piece and take it as a training of your patience :-)

I was wrestling with the opposite dilemma - whether to add a CE Diver while I already own a CE44. There are some good comments from members on this subject in a thread I started last week which you may find helpful.
In summary, I love the CE44 anthracite which I own and have decided to take the opportunity to add a CE Diver, and I find that combo redundant, i will look to trade the CE44 for another 44 |

I can see that the ti is quite popular here on TRF. Thanks all for the input. Still debating but leaning towards the 44CE. The contrast of RG on black dial is just amazing.
Might still keep the diver though, not sure yet. It runs perfectly fine and is still under warranty until 10/18. For the record, I'm also planning to order the ceramic perpetual next year. Yet another reason on why the ti makes more sense. |

CE diver is the best ceramic offshore IMO including all the 44 variants. The Ti is the best everyday wear 44. So to me its an easy choice.

wow. I would be thrilled with the SS PC or even the RG. That ceramic though on a bracelet is probably the coolest watch to come out in years, period.

I think the 44CE is a damn cool watch, very nice! I might like to try the titanium version next time though as perhaps a bit more versatile what with it being less 'black'. Though depends where you live and dress style.

Can't wait to see you get the ce perpetual, not ready to get another watch in the 100k +\- zone, and don't want to sell any of mine, but am dreaming of getting it one day as well, though would prefer if they did a full CE Jumbo, would be much cheaper and more to my taste, but don't think they will, if at least they could sink on the grey market, I know I am dreaming, will probably hold value because of very low production...
Oh and I agree that for me the ce diver is cooler than any other ce 44, at one point was thinking of selling it for a 15407, but no way, that one is staying, it's too badass and it's my party/crowd watch, notnafraid of hitting itnagainst something, one time it hit a guy's watch, he didn't have saphire glass, his glass shattered from the contact... |
