FS: Rolex Submariner 16610LV 50th Anniversary 'kermit'
I'm sadly selling my 50th Anniversary Rolex 16610LV 'kermit' Submariner. I've fallen on hard times, and with deep regret the watch has to go.
I've owned the watch since March 2015 and have tried to look after it. There are a few minor marks/scratches which will polish out no problem, the watch runs just fine and has no issues with movement bracelet or case. Specifics: Purchased 2015 from a Rolex specialist It's a 2007 model and comes with box but no papers (which is exactly how I bought it from a respected independent Rolex specialist in March 2015). Included in sale (and shown in pictures): Rolex Submariner 16610LV, Rolex box, outer card box, white shipping sleeve, Rolex submariner booklet, original Rolex warranty booklet, original warranty card from the specialist I purchased the watch from. The bracelet has the correct Rolex stampings and the watch case itself has the correct Rolex stamping as well. I recently had the watch inspected by an independent Rolex specialist who not only valued it but also verified its authenticity. I can provide further details if required. Points of note: Some scratches on bracelet and case which I've tried to show in the photos. These will all polish out pretty easily - I have not polished this watch during my ownership. The previous owner clearly had the case polished, unfortunately. There is sign of over-polishing on the bottom right hand lug (below the 8 o'clock mark) and I've tried to show this in the pictures. There is a small dent on the bezel at the 2 o'clock mark. This happened 2 years ago when I dinged the watch, stupidly, whilst wearing it. It's not major and you don't really notice it in everyday wear but I am mentioning it and have tried to show it in the pictures. The bezel is not damaged to the extent of requiring replacement. There is a small scratch across the crystal running from right to left from the 2 o'clock to 7 o'clock marks. This is virtually imperceptible to the naked eye, and is not something that I've been concerned with. The watch is 100% waterproof, as I've worn it whilst diving and swimming over the past 2 years. I'm looking for £6000 for it. UK buyer preferred. Selling with great regret. This is a lovely watch and I am really going to miss it. Any questions, please ask. It's priced competitively given its condition and the demand for the original LV watches these days. Serious buyers only please. Fully insured postage available (£20) once cleared funds are received, collection in person is also an option however cleared funds are required in advance. |
