Montegrappa fortuna heartwood
Has anyone seen any pics of these pens in the real world? I have these two pics from bittner but the teak looks, pretty much, black. I'm hoping for some wood grain. The walnut looks to be the winner so far but I want to believe the teak is more complex than just "dark brown/black". Studio shots show some wood grain at least.
Teak wood

Teak is very tight grained and often hard to see.

I think I'm leaning more towards the walnut these days.

Scratch that. Looks like pear wood is where it's at. That's the lighter wood I posted earlier as it turns out. This is complicated.

Just put in for a Fortuna heartwood with a broad nib. I went with pear wood. Also ordered a Montegrappa Parola stealth black FP in broad as well. I've been kicking both of these pens around for months. Time to pull the trigger. Appelboom had a good deal on both.
