SS fluted bezel?Am I nuts?
Hi all,
I've been searching around and did not found something similar (probably I have no idea to search, sorry). This is my question, Does anyone tried to find a professional to build a marvelous SS fluted bezel for a 116234 or another new model? I love fluted bezel but I'm not big fan of precious metals like gold because are too shinny for me and very soft comparing with a hard SS. I have a TOG with a beautiful WG fluted bezel but is an issue for me that depending on the light you can see different colours between WG and SS and with a daily wear gold suffers more than SS. Does anyone had the same question and solved with a SS fluted bezel?? Thanks in advance. Note: Aftermarket eBay bezels are Not an option! "If you're not having fun you're doing something wrong". The SS machine bezel looks very much like the fluted bezels. Wouldn't take much at all to polish the sharper grooves smooth.

Do you mean to convert a machine bezel to a fluted? If yes is the machine bezel compatible with the 6 digit 36mm DJ models? "If you're not having fun you're doing something wrong". Groucho Marx. |

Tudor offers stainless steel fluted bezels on some current models, in various sizes.

For a uniformed look, the SS machined bezel is a good vintage look, IMO. the SS machining gives the DJ a more tool look, which is nice. I have the WG fluted bezel and the warmer tone of the WG contrasting to the SS case is very apparent. It also gives is a pop very nice to dress it up.

I think the 18ct fluted bezel is absolutely gorgeous and transforms an otherwise plain looking DJ. Especially in classic 36mm size, it would be fluted bezel and jubilee for me...what a combination IMO.

I agree. The combination is very classic and elegant.

I'll think about it. Probably is a nice idea to try a machined bezel. "If you're not having fun you're doing something wrong". Groucho Marx. |

Just buy a WG bezel and never polish it and no one will see it's WG.
