For those that brushed the plcs can you bring them back with a cape cod or will it require more equipment? Not interested in doing this but just curious.

i think one of the reasons why pcls get those unknown hairline scratches, is because whwn you see fingerprknts or dirts, you wipe it off at once because you get bothered. even if you use a cleaning cloth, by wiping it with small dusts on it, yes you do remove the smudges, but the dusts also scratch the pcl's.
one helpful way to prevent this is by not wiping your bracelets. before you wipe, wash it with water first to remove the dusts |

I accept the fact that there will be hairline scratches in the PCLs but after a while it takes on a uniform somewhat lower shine. I'm OK with it.

I prefer to have some watches with pcls and others brushed. Sometimes I want something dressier, and the pcls fit the bill.

I'm not bitter and I have nothing against gold watches. I considered buying a Smurf not long ago. But I wouldn't go out and say I got a Smurf because it is a better metal for a diving watch vs the Stainless Submariner. I would say I simply prefer gold due to appearance or weight and I'm willing to accept that it will show more damage due to it being a much softer metal. I'm not a yellow gold fan but I don't have some sort of hatred toward the metal. I like RG and WG just fine but up until now have never thought the premium was worth it especially for a tool watch which by definition is supposed to be subject to repeated abuse.

Love the PCL's on my Bluesy. I can't notice the swirls unless I'm looking real hard for them.
