Op116000
I have An OP 116000 Blue Arabic.
Am hankering for a Sub no date. Question is was the 116000 a good choice that I made or should I go for the Sub ( £2k more ) and is it worth the extra ? |

I traded my OP plus cash in on a Sub. Found I liked the OP more than the Sub. I thought I'd sold myself short by buying the OP because it receives less love and everyone loves the subs. The blue is a great OP, imho. Ultimately the best option I would think is to save for the Sub and keep the OP.

Whether or not it's worth it is totally subjective. Is it worth it to you? The Sub doesn't do anything that the OP doesn't (unless you plan to dive to 201 meters).
I really like the blue 3,6,9 OP and I've been thinking of trading my 114060 for one, honestly. Mainly because I really like 36mm and secondly I'm a one watch guy...have been for 10+ years and I've always had some sort of Rolex Sub. Looking for a bit of a change. At limes I feel like I'd be getting less of a watch, but in reality I wouldn't be. Like the poster before said...I'd much prefer to add the OP, but I don't like having multiple watches. Which do you like better? We should start there. We can't tell you if the Sub is more "worth it" than the OP.

The OP 36mm in blue is beautiful; add Mercedes hands and becomes awesome!
