I've been through all the vintage advice pages, recent and old, a while back - great stuff, but know from vintage amps and guitars that there's no substitute for actually seeing the stuff up close....vintage guitars/amps have also suffered from a lot of very good faking over the years...and where the real money is, the 'better' fakers go....I suppose it's the old thing about 'buying the seller'...
