LOVE IT!!! Way too much money for a watch with a rubber strap though. Down the road it'll be mine though......

I want that dial on the 116500. Something about the filled-in subdials make it look more proper as opposed to the contrasting rings only.

I really like this watch but do not like the price. If it eventually goes to gray market prices for PM pieces that can be 30% off of retail, that would be more reasonable. And it would compete with the Aquanaut . I'm still wondering when / if the gold ceramic Daytona's will come on a PM bracelet.

Love it, waiting on the price to come down in the secondary market. I tried it on this week, even better in person.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Oysterflex. I know it's great quality, and it has a thin metal band running through in case the rubber ever rips, which many other companies don't do, however it just doesn't do it for me. Quite honestly I think the 116500LN (white dial) is a much better looking piece, far better value, and I'll even go a step further and say arguably the best looking Rolex...of all time!

I really like it. As much as I do like it, I have a hard time accepting a watch of this stature on a rubber strap. If there was a option to have both the WG and rubber strap as a kit offered directly from Rolex, I'd buy it today.

I saw one live last weekend in SF. I was less impressed than i predicted. Dial not as easy to read as I would have liked. Nice but at 28K USD...

I would rather get the 116500LN black dial if you prefer a daytona with ceramic bezel. You can still swap the bracelet out on the 116500LN. On the other hand, you can't install a bracelet on the 116519LN.

I am glad you posted this thread... I was about to ask as well!!

I would love to see more current owners of this WG Daytona on rubber to share their experiences...

I like it in pictures and I am on the list, but definitely want to see in person.
I am considering this and the BLRO both to round out my current collection for now.
PP 5164 and AP ROO Ti Novelty are the two other contenders as I want a new chrono and a GMT.
Seeing in person is so important, I really thought I wanted the RG YM until I saw it in person... Kinda liked it, but not enough.
Hopefully the glossy ceramic bezel and Daytona design will do more for me than the RG YM (the matte black bezel was just not for me).

I like it, but for that kind of money I want the bracelet as well.

The problem that I have with most of the Daytonas (and the reason I sold mine) is that there isn't enough contrast between the hands and the face, and I can't easily tell what time it is. And that's one of the primary reasons that I wear a watch.

I love all the Daytonas on OF I have seen.
WG is one of the few I have not, but from pictures it looks like a winner.
I choose the RG with rose dial, because I wanted a rose on rubber, otherwise this one would have been my choice.

I love it. Would love to own one sometime in the future, but maybe in a year or two after prices settle and drop (if they do) like they have with the leather strap-era of Daytonas.

I'm willing to wait and take my time as I picked up a 116500LN in the meantime :)

If a AD could 100% sure have one for me I'd probably fly to get it. Pick up and fly right home. The only Daytona I would want.
