Help Needed

I am hoping for some good advice from fellow members. I am in a quandary right now. I have 5 various rolexs, DD40 YG, DJ TT, BLNR, SS white face Daytona, Daytona TT Blueface. I have on order a SS Skydweller which I am hopeful will arrive next month. I have fallen in love with the BLRO, but don't really want to spend more money this year and am considering flipping one Rolex and another watch from my collection.

Now here is where I need the advice, I was lucky to get a Omega Silver Award Snoopy last year from a boutique in London, I have never bonded with it, despite my first watch being a Snoopy watch when I was 5 years old. The Rolex I am considering flipping is the SS Daytona. Do you think it would be a good idea to flip these two for a BLRO? My other watch is a RG JLC MUT with diamond bezel which I enjoy wearing when the situation is right, so would prefer to keep that one.

Or do you think I would be better off keeping Snoopy and the SS Daytona as I feel they will hold value very well, and just take a frying pan over the head from the wife and buy the BLRO?

I don't mean to be facetious here but what's a BLNO?

I think I'd let go of either BLNR or TT Daytona and the Omega for the WG GMT.

I'd let go of the DD 40, then do what you wish.

If it doesn't do it for you then let the snoopy go for at least double what you paid. The BLRO is a great watch and would make a nice addition to your already lovely collection.

The Snoopy connection you had as a child but never really bonded with is really your triumph card Sir.The current market price for the beloved silver Snoopy fluctuates between USD 12-15 K(None are available for sale on Chrono24 and eBay at the time of my post,Authentic.Watches.com has one for sale USD15.5 K). I know of a local Chinese businessman here who is prepared to pay a premium USD 14K in hard cash for a Snoopy but that isn't enough in my humble opinion. If you must, then sell off the most expensive beagle in history ONLY if a millionaire watch collector or a wealthy Speedie fanboy offers you an insanely outrageous sum of US18-20K not a penny more not a penny less

Its a wedding watch, would be the kitchen sink over my head if I did that. Plus as a boy (and still as an adult) I used to go to the horse racing, and I saw a bookie wearing one, and said one day I will own one, I was totally smitten with it

I did get lucky in buying it at retail, although I never thought I would want to part ways, although still undecided. I always buy to enjoy. Snoopy!!!! Why you do this to me

Buy what you want to wear, sell what you don't.

I'm sure if/when you pick up the BLRO, it'll defitnely dominate wrist time over the BLNR.

BLRO is like the new pretty girl in town who everyone wants to meet. Snoopy is the classic beauty type everyone always dreamed of but will never have since she's taken already. BLRO is always available while Snoopy isn't anymore.

I suggest you save up for the BLRO. That way, you get the thrill and excitement of courting this new watch which will result to a more special bond once you have her.

Quite possible, although I love the blue/black colours of BLNR

Thanks for the reply. I hear what you are saying and enjoyed reading your comment :) and I am genuinely torn into what to do. I am fortunate enough to have the money for the BLRO, just having a hard justifying "another watch" when I have the SS Skydweller hopefully arriving next month.
