If I were you I would try to sell it yourself on the forums. I sold a BLNR a couple months back and it seemed to be pretty easy. With that model it should be an easy sell, then you can buy a DJ 41 and pocket the extra cash

I personally would sell the SD43 and buy a Sub because I think it would fit you better, unless you don't really like the look of a Rolex sports watch in general. If that's the case then go for the DJ 41, all that matters is that you are happy with your choice in the long run

Dollars aside (I'm too lazy to figure out if this really is a deal in terms of dollars or not), I personally wouldn't make that trade even though the SD43 is just too big for my wrists.

I much prefer the SD43 to the TT DJ 41, but at the end of the day it really boils down to what you enjoy and what will make you, not the rest of us, happy.

I think the majority here are going to tell you dollars aside don't let the SD43 go...

I would wait to see what Rolex do at Baselworld 2018 with the SD43. If it remains in production in its current iteration, flip it. If Rolex revise the read text for white, then the value of your SD43 will jump and if you are still keen to flip it, you'll make more money. In the interim, you could buy the TT DJ at a reasonable price from a Trusted Seller on TRF to reduce the hit on the resale price should you decide to flip it in the future, whilst you wait until March 2018 for the new releases.

It's about what makes you happy and less about the money. Why keep the 43 when you are clearly not in love. I say do it if that's the model you want.

Better just sell the Sd43 and use the money to buy DD41.

I agree with everyone here - you got a really hot watch - surely you can afford to take your time a bit and think about really what you want? Going from your watch to a 2 tone DJ41 is a big difference especially on the Jubilee.

you can probably do better on the purchase of a DJ41 than the one that is being offered...

I would not trade, if there is the smallest chance the red text is this year only you will always regret selling it. A good deal on a Datejust will always be close at hand.

Joining the "don't do it" camp. The deal seems to be much better for the other party.

DJ41s are a dime a dozen. Wait it out for a while and make sure you really want one. Especially two-tone. I'd really push back on TT in general, but obviously a personal decision.

List for an SD is $11,350; for a TT DJ41 list is $12,700.

To me the only real question is which watch you'd rather own. I doubt the value of the SDs will stay in the premium range for long. It might be an opportunity for you.

This. Rresale value is something you consider if you plan to sell afterwards but always buy what you like if reselling is not something you're gonna do.

I'd keep the SD43 all day over about anything! Save up and buy a DJ and then you have the ultimate duo!
