16610 Authentication
Hi all,
I have been offered this 16610 for a good price. Can someone help me with authenticating the watch? I am mainly concerned the lume plots look too pronounced and the case has been overpolished. I will definitely get it authenticated by a watchmaker but I'd like some guidance so I don't waste my time. Pics inside here: http://imgur.com/a/z8JVR |

Watch is genuine. Hands and insert are later replacements. The strap isn't original to the watch and isn't a service supplied one either, no idea if the strap is genuine, the pictures aren't good enough to tell.

Nothing is jumping out to me as fake... however, note that SEL (solid end links) were only produced for a few years on holes case models.... I believe it was P, K, and Y. So if this watch is true to its design, it should be one of those letter serials though there may have been some A and D models this way... I have only ever seen SEL and holes cases on P, K, and Y though.
