Rolex 16618 18K/YG Submariner Blue Dial COMPLETE BOX & PAPERS

For your consideration is my Submariner, Ref. 16618, the solid 18K yellow gold model with beautiful blue dial and bezel. This is almost as complete as they come for a watch of this vintage. It is a holes case with solid end links and center links. Y serial series. This piece is complete with all original paperwork, service history, extra link and box. All 12 links plus divers extension and an extra link are present. The lugs are still sharp. It was a daily and does need a polish and a service. Two links were removed for most of its life, so one link that is currently installed has less wear than the rest.

This timepiece was last sent to Dallas RSC in 2010 where it was cleaned and lubricated, the crystal replaced, and the case and crown were polished as shown in the invoice and service paperwork. The crystal is in excellent shape and has the laser etched coronet at the 6 o'clock position. Two seconds is around the most it gains or loses per day.

This Submariner has spent its entire life here in Tucson, AZ (where I am currently located). As shown on the original warranty card it was purchased from Ben Bridge locally, as well as being serviced out of another local AD.

I would service it myself but I will be leaving for the military at the end of this month and it likely would not be back in time. If it does not sell it will go back in the safe for a later date.
