What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional
photographer, buy a flute and you own a flute.

Did not intend the collection to be that way, but it was a smart move as the wife would drive me nuts with the statement "Why do you keep buying watches that look the same?". Having modern watches as part of the collection keeps her interested. So the forumula now will be two vintage with a modern thrown in the middle of the purchases. What ever works, eh'.

Over the last three months a tie between three. The 5513, 16700 and Daytona. Have no idea of the model number of the Daytona. Some WIS I am!! The wife bought me the Daytona and points out when I am not wearing it. She hated the Daytona until she got if for me last Christmas. I do wear all of them on a regular basis. One to work and a different one when I get home.

Really nice collection you have there, Joe! I'm very jealous.

May I ask why all your subs bezels are all at the 25 minute mark?

very nice family photos joe,man you know who would look great in that shot..
uncle red-(you know who..)lol,seriously,great collection-very refined taste if I do say so myself.
p.s. I have a few great vintage peices looking for a nice family to adopt them
but seriously

see you my friend.by the way-do you keep all the dates set??and times right-no way..

oh yeah-by the way,you have actually made me switch to the gmt as my favorite model of rolex-there is something about the look and feel of a nice acrylic crystal gmt.

You should know about the 5512 and 1675 since I got them from you at great prices. There is something about a GMT. It is the perfect watch to switch to and from a SUB. Nothing like waving the RED flag to get my attention. My thinking is a 1680 Red or 1665 White or the 9411 Snowflake Tudor. I might have the model number wrong on the Tudor. Getting old. All up to the wife.
